Equipment Operator / Crew Supervisor
Looking for an individual as an equipment operator and supervisor for a water well drilling business. Prior experience in supervising construction crews and working around heavy equipment required. Experience in the water well industry is preferred but will train the right individual. Salary based on skills.
Job Description
- Operate and maintain equipment for drilling and installing pumps in domestic, irrigation, municipal, and industrial water wells.
- Supervise a crew of 2-3 people.
- Check out and keep track of job material.
- Complete daily records and crew time sheets.
- Maintain a safe work environment.
- Assist, as needed, in other work (Drilling, trenching, etc).
- Some out of town work (Less than 10%, home on weekends)
- Majority of work is outdoors
Required Qualifications
- Experience supervising construction crews
- Experience with heavy equipment
- Class A or B CDL – Class A preferred (no restrictions)
- Clean driving record
- Pass pre-employment drug screen
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs on a regular basis
Desirable Skills
- Experience on drilling rigs
- Experience in setting and repairing submersible and lineshaft turbine pumps
- Troubleshoot electrical controls
- Stick welding
- 40 Hour HAZWOPER certification
- Tanker and Hazardous CDL endorsements

Crew Helper
Looking for individuals to work on drilling and pump crews.
Job Description
- Help on water well drilling and pump setting crews.
- Help load and move equipment and material to and from locations.
- Help with equipment maintenance and other work as needed.
- Some out of town work (less than 10%, home on weekends).
- Majority of work is outdoors.
- Normal work hours 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM weekdays, longer workdays as needed to complete work, especially during the summer.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license (No restrictions)
- Clean driving record
- Pass pre-employment drug screen
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs on a regular basis
Desirable Skills
- Class A or B CDL drivers license
- Prior experience with water well drilling and pumps
- Tanker and hazardous CDL endorsements
- Experience with backhoe, forklift, trencher, or other equipment
- Mechanical experience
- Stick-welding
